BIOGRAPHY

Hello, I am Alla.

Since I was a little girl, drawing and painting was something very special for me. I wanted to devote all my time to it. I grew up in Eastern Ukraine and I was 1 out of 4 girls in the family of a coal miner. It was difficult for my parents to provide me with art supplies, so I used all the paper I found at home for my drawings. My Mom dedicated a wall in our house and bought multicolored chalks and a sponge so I could draw as much as I wanted.

Over the years I acquired a lot of different techniques and studied many types of art. Fluid art is one of the art types which I am most passionate about. Apart from that I create interior wall art, work with pastels, acrylic painting and watercolors.

As well as that, I also write poetry; I have 2 books published and I practice calligraphy. 

For more than 40 years I have been teaching a variety of subjects to adults and kids of all ages. If it wasn't directly related to art, different types of art always helped me prepare for my classes.
